Design, Installed and commissioning of a control system for a screen able to detect blockage and back off. Defined block function within the strategy enable fine-tuning and calibration for this application. Final communications and control being MaxiVis a high level supervisory system. Further screens and application are planned.

SCADA upgrades - Manufacturing Industry
Year 2000 upgrade and modifications of 5 Systems. Included application conversion to Windows NT. Rexx to Visual Basic Conversions. Communication to A-B SLC 500 PLC's, EPA 6000 and T640 series controllers. Year 2000 compliance testing.
Emissions Monitoring - Cement Industry
Replacement of existing monitoring computers with SCADA and Windows NT software. The applications provided over 150 tabular and trending displays at each site and provides automatic data archiving to spreadsheet format files.
Burner Control Application - Cement Industry
Replacement of process control instruments on kiln platform. A single stand alone application for air / oil burner start-up. This customer required the application using EPA T640 controller. This controller uses a powerful set of function blocks configured by using a PC software package and can also be configured using a sequential language. This dual loop application for air and oil mixture operating independent valves, with a calculation block calculating the correct flow constants.
Ivory Liner System - Paper Industry
Design programs and arrange installation of instrumentation to operate Primary - Secondary - stream the system is split into two strains, the primary and secondary. Each stream then consists of two screens, first a 2mm-hole screen (sometimes referred as an ultra screen) and then a 0.2mm slotted screen. Pulp is fed through cyclones, the Dr is measured and displayed as are all other Dr’s. The control output for the differential pressure is controlled by EPA intelligent controllers. All other valve operation is carried out using PID loop controllers from EPA.

Included year 2000 support and advice on replacement of instrumentation and SCADA systems, communication links vary, between RS422 – Mod-Bus & Ethernet. Various upgrades are planned between 1998 - 1999.
Lehr Control System - Glass Manufacturing Industry
Complete Refurbishment of a Lehr control system for a leading glass manufacturer. This turnkey solution provides temperature control using four EPA T920 Integrated Loop Processors over 42 temperature zones, communication is completed using EPA A-Lin Network to a T3500 SCADA station. The SCADA provides over 100 text and graphical displays for Lehr control, alarming and trending with a temperature profile save and recall function. The complete system was designed. built, installed and commissioned within 4 weeks to coincide with the client's production downtime.
Compressor Control Upgrade - LNG Storage
Replacement of control strategy for 4 control loops on LNG storage tank plant. Reverse engineer S6000 instrument stategy to the Eurotherm T640 controller, upgraded to to Eurotherm T640 controllers on 2 LNG storage sites in the UK.
This involved complete reversal of the current database to Eurotherms block configuration using their Lintools software application.
